Causes of peeling and blistering during the production process of aluminum profile radiators and their solutions

The daily use of industrial aluminum profiles has become very common, but an important link in the manufacturing process of aluminum profile radiators is that bubbles or peeling often occur during the processing of aluminum profiles. What are the main reasons for this phenomenon and what are the solutions?

1、 Reasons for bubbles and peeling on the surface of aluminum profiles:

1. The wear of the aluminum extrusion cylinder and extrusion pad used in the production of aluminum profile radiators is out of tolerance, and the size of the extrusion cylinder and extrusion pad is not properly matched. The diameter difference between the two gaskets used at the same time exceeds the allowable value;

2. The extrusion tubes and pads used in the production of aluminum profile radiator products are too dirty, with oil stains, moisture, graphite, etc. adhered to them;

3. The lubricating oil contains water;

4. There are too many grooves on the surface of the ingot, which are too deep, or there are pores, sand holes, loose tissue, oil stains, etc. on the surface of the ingot;

5. When replacing the aluminum profile alloy, the inside of the cylinder was not cleaned thoroughly;

6. The temperature of the extrusion cylinder and the temperature of the extrusion ingot are too high;

7. The temperature and size of aluminum profiles during ingot processing exceed the allowable negative deviation;

8. The ingot is too long, filled too quickly, and the temperature of the ingot is uneven, causing non drum shaped filling, resulting in incomplete exhaust in the cylinder or improper operation, and failure to perform the exhaust process;

9. The design of the mold hole is unreasonable, or the cutting of residual materials is improper. The residual materials in the diversion hole and guide hole are partially carried out, and the gas in the gap enters the surface when squeezed.

2、 Method to eliminate peeling of aluminum profiles:

1. Design the matching dimensions of the extrusion cylinder and extrusion gasket for industrial aluminum profiles. Regularly check the relevant dimensions of the production tools for aluminum profiles to ensure compliance with requirements. If there is a large belly in the extrusion cylinder, it should be repaired in a timely manner, and the extrusion gasket should not exceed the tolerance;

2. Keep the surface of tools and ingots clean, smooth, and dry;

3. When replacing the aluminum profile radiator alloy, thoroughly clean the cylinder;

4. Regularly inspect equipment and instruments to prevent excessive temperature and speed of aluminum profile radiators;

5. Strictly implement the process regulations and various systems for industrial aluminum profiles and aluminum profiles;

6. Reasonably design and manufacture tooling, with diversion holes and diversion holes designed to have an internal slope of 1 to 3 degrees;

7. Strict operation, correct cutting of residual materials and complete exhaust to ensure the quality of the produced aluminum radiator products.
