Al Mn alloy system. The solubility of manganese in solid solution can reach 1.82%. The strength of the alloy increases continuously with increasing solubility. Al Mn alloy is a non age hardening alloy that cannot be heat treated for strengthening.

04. Zinc

Al Zn alloy system. The solubility of zinc in aluminum can reach 31.6%. Adding zinc and magnesium simultaneously to aluminum forms a strengthening phase Mg/Zn2, which can have a significant strengthening effect on the alloy.
